Juice Plant Sterilization Equipment
🔍 Product Overview

The Apple Juice Plant Sterilization, Clarification & Concentration Equipment is an integrated high-efficiency processing system designed for fruit juice deep processing. It integrates three core functions: impurity removal, sterilization, and concentration. Based on advanced membrane separation technology and low-temperature concentration technology, the system solves industry pain points such as juice turbidity, short shelf life, nutrient loss, and high transportation costs.

It is widely applicable to various fruit juices (e.g., orange juice, apple juice, mango juice) and functional fruit drinks, delivering clear, sterile, and high-concentration final products while maximizing the retention of natural flavors, vitamins, and active ingredients. It meets global food safety standards such as FDA, SC, and EU regulations.

⚙️ Working Principle

The system adopts a "membrane separation + low-temperature concentration" combined process, realizing seamless connection of clarification, sterilization, and concentration without chemical additives.

1. Pretreatment Stage

Fresh fruit juice is filtered through a 5-10μm precision pre-filter to remove large-particle impurities, protecting subsequent membrane elements from clogging.

2. Clarification & Sterilization Stage

Ultrafiltration (UF) Clarification: Equipped with membranes (10,000–50,000 Da) that retain colloids, pectin, and proteins at room temperature (25–35℃).

Membrane Sterilization: Synchronously removes bacteria, yeasts, and molds with a sterilization rate of ≥99.99%, avoiding thermal damage.

3. Concentration Stage

Nanofiltration (NF) Pre-Concentration: Selective retention of sugars and organic acids, pre-concentrating juice to 25%–30% soluble solids.

Vacuum Low-Temperature Final Concentration: Further concentration at 40–60℃ to reach target solids (65%–70%), reducing energy consumption by 30%–50% compared to traditional methods.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How does the system achieve sterilization without heat? A: The equipment uses advanced membrane filtration (UF/MF) with pore sizes as small as 0.01 μm to physically intercept bacteria, yeasts, and molds, achieving a 99.99% sterilization rate.
Q2: What is the benefit of low-temperature vacuum concentration? A: By operating at 40-60℃, the system prevents thermal damage to the juice, ensuring that natural flavors, colors, and sensitive vitamins are fully preserved.
Q3: Can the concentration level be adjusted? A: Yes, the final soluble solid content is typically 65%–70°Bx, but it can be fully customized based on specific production requirements.
Q4: Is the equipment easy to clean? A: The system includes an integrated CIP (Clean-in-Place) online cleaning unit that automatically cleans membrane modules and pipelines to prevent fouling.
Q5: What materials are used for juice contact parts? A: All parts in contact with juice are made from 304 or 316L stainless steel and food-grade PVDF membranes, complying with FDA and global food safety standards.
Q6: What capacities are available? A: We offer systems with processing capacities ranging from 50 Kg/h for small batches to 10,000 Kg/h for industrial-scale production.
